Lesson 10 – Congregation
Apostolic Prayers
A lot of Prayers that are prayed for the Church are not based on the Word of God.
Some Christians pray according to their own ideas of what should happen in the Church.
On the other hand, the Apostolic Prayers give us a good understanding and perspective on what the focus should be when we pray for the Church.
Characteristics of the Apostolic Prayers
The Prayers are focused on God and His Character. Satan is not addressed at all.
The Prayers are Positive Prayers. These Prayers are not prayed against any things.
The Prayers focus on God to reveal His Wisdom and Knowledge of His Word in the Church.
The Prayers also focus on the Church to bear the Fruit of the Spirit.
Lastly, the Apostolic Prayers express the Heart and Love of God for His Church.
