Lesson 5 – Persecution

Background

Persecution is part of a Christian’s Life (John 16:33; John 17:15).

Persecution can come in any of the following ways:

World

Church / Fellow Christians (This is usually more difficult to handle and may result in a Christian losing his/her faith)

Family

It must be remembered that persecution is temporary (Nahum 1:9; Romans 8:18). Furthermore, it must be understood that Christians grow the fastest during times of persecution.
