Lesson 5 – Persecution
Background
Persecution is part of a Christian’s Life (John 16:33; John 17:15).
Persecution can come in any of the following ways:
World
Church / Fellow Christians (This is usually more difficult to handle and may result in a Christian losing his/her faith)
Family
It must be remembered that persecution is temporary (Nahum 1:9; Romans 8:18). Furthermore, it must be understood that Christians grow the fastest during times of persecution.
